postheadericon ROBOTIC WRIST!

Albert Pujols – Will apparently be activated from the DL on Tuesday.  If Pujols is indeed activated, put him back in your lineups immediately.  Talk about robotic body parts!

Delmon Young – Scheduled to begin a rehab stint with Triple A Rochester.  I’m sure most of you dropped Young once he went on the DL, and I would keep it that way until he proves he’s going to hit.

Ryan Braun – Left Saturdays game with a calf injury and sat out both Sunday and Monday’s game.  Expect Braun back in the lineup sometime middle of the week.

Jose Reyes – Left Saturdays game with a grade 1 hamstring strain.  Reyes is listed as day to day and will be re-evaluated on a daily basis.  Mets are optimistic he won’t miss much time.

Fausto Carmona – To the 15 day DL with “moderate quad strain”.  If you were actually starting Carmona in mixed leagues, your team is probably bad.

Bartolo Colon – Threw 6 shut out innings in his return from the DL, while striking out 6.  Colon was excellent on the day and should continue to be rolled out there with confidence every start!

Marlon Byrd – Activated from the DL on Friday and had 3 0 for games before picking up 2 hits on Monday.  Byrd should only be owned in NL only leagues until he proves worthy in mixed.

Rich Harden – In his first start of the season, Harden went 6 innings while surrendering 2 earned runs and striking out 6.  I’m going to go against the grain here, while most people will tell you not to pick up Harden, I am going to tell you to!

Travis Snider – 3 for 5 with 2 RBI and 3 doubles in his return to the majors.  I wouldn’t pick up Snider unless youre in an AL only league.  Mixed leaguers, you should monitor Snider, he could become a valuable add off the free agent wire.

Derek Jeter – Returned from the DL and went 0 for 4 in his return.  Jeter still remains 5 hits from 3,000.

Ryan Dempster – Had his scheduled start skipped due to illness and back pain.  Dempster claims he will be ready for a start before the all-star break.  Don’t be surprised if you see the Cubs take it easy with him and let him rest.  Dempster will not land on the DL.

Tommy Hanson – 7 IP, 1 ER, 6 K while picking up his 9th win of the season.  Yup, I think Hanson is over that DL rust!
