postheadericon FRIDAY'S ROUNDUP

Ryan Dempster - 0.1 IP 4H 4BB 7 ER.  I dont know what to do with this guy, but it might be time to cut your losses.  If you have room to stash him on your bench, do it and see if he comes around.  If not, cut him loose.

Brennan Boesch - 2-4 yesterday as he hits .350 on the year.  I dont see Boesch as a .300 hitter, more like a .270 but 20 home runs are not outta the question.  He is a must own if he is not already.

Brandon Morrow - 6 IP 2 ER 6K and only 1BB.  Hopefully this is Morrow rounding into form.  I have a feeling Morrow becomes an excellent SP 2 this year.

Nelson Cruz - 0-3 with a walk and a steal.  Hes not providing the 3rd round value he was drafted in but give him time.

Carlos Lee - 2-4 last night with 2 RBI.  Dont care, abandon ship.

Jose Tabata - 0-4 yesterday afternoon and 1 for his last 13.  I wouldnt worry yet, I still believe he becomes a top 20 OF this year.  Continue to play him everyday, its only a matter of time before he busts out.

Aubrey Huff - another 0 for last night and he bats .211 on the year.  I wouldnt abandon ship yet, but its getting close to that time.

Curtis Granderson - 1-3 2 RBI and a triple.  Can someone say bounce back year?

Grady Sizemore - 2-4 with a homer run and 2 RBI.  Is the real Grady back?  I believe its too early to tell, even if hes not, ride him while you can!

Wilson Betemit - 1-4 with 2 RBI.  Hes worth a pick up, but his streak could end any day now. Be warned!

Travis Hafner - Hurt his ankle.  Theres that injury we were all waiting for!

Ben Zobrist - 4-6 with a HR and 8 RBI in game 1 and in game 2, 3-4 with a HR and 2 RBI totaling 7-10 2 HR and 10 RBI on the day.  Down year last year, but I smell a bounce back this year!

Carlos Pena - Another 0-4 day, he has a hurt thumb and refuses to go on the DL.  I wouldnt expect much until after he hits the DL.  I can understand if you want to get rid of him, I wont fight you on that.

Delmon Young - To the DL with a rib cage strain.

Ryan Zimmerman - Apparantly he had a setback last night and wont be back anytime soon.  Thanks, Ryan.

Travis Snider - Sent to AAA, and rightfully so.

Kendry Morales - Does anyone thing hes coming back this year?  I dont.

Joe Mauer - Hes apparantly "turning the corner".  I'll believe it when I see it.

Edwin Jackson - 4 IP 6 ER and 5 BB.  Enough said, drop him.

postheadericon THURSDAY'S ROUNDUP

Brett Wallace - Yet another 3 hit game, as he hits .367 on the year.  I've gotten questions from a lot of you asking me if this is for real.  I will answer that with yes and no.  The AVG will drop but I do believe this guy is for real. I'm expect a power increase soon, as he does have some power. Recommend picking him up right away

Kyle Lohse - 7 IP, 4 hits, 2 K's and the win. Another great start, if you are really weak on pitching pick him up, but be aware he could blow up at any time.

Lance Berkman - 2-4 and he hits .385 on the year. Yes, hes playing above his head and yes, this wont continue.

Josh Tomlin - 6 IP, 5 hits, 3 K's and the win.  Tomlin is pitching a bit over his head right now, but he should have fantasy relevance all year. I'd continue to throw him out there every start until he proves otherwise. Tomlin has never been a huge strike out guy in the minors and I dont expect him to be in the majors either. 570.2 IP with 495 K's career in the minors.

Shin-Soo Choo - 2-2 with a walk and a stolen base. I have fielded a lot of questions about Choo with his slow start.  Dont worry about Choo, and if any league owner is fed up with him, you should be full go to trade for him.  Choo will be a top 15 OF by the end of the year.

Justin Smoak - 2-4 HR with a career high 5 RBI yesterday. Yes, I think Justin Smoak is starting to live up to potential. If hes available in any leagues, its time to pick him up.

Travis Snider - 1-4 as he hits .181 on the year. As an owner who drafted him in all leagues I am quite frustrated. I am now an owner who has dropped him in all leagues.

Wade Davis- 6.2 IP 2 ER 5 K with a win and sits at 3-2 on the year with a 2.73 ERA.  Davis has been exceptional thus far. Davis is not a 2.73 ERA pitcher but its not crazy to think hes a sub 4 ERA pitcher. Davis is nothing more than an SP 3.

Chad Billingsley - 6 IP 4 ER 3 K's and did not pitch well.  C-Bills hasnt pitched all that well this season thus far, dont expect that to continue. Some owners could be drawing frustrated with his up and down ways. I think hes a great buy low if an owner is trying to sell him.

Tommy Hanson - 7 IP 4 hits 0 R 10 K's and the win, as he was dominant yet again. Hanson now has 14 innings of 1 run ball. Need I say more?

Mat Latos - 5 IP 7hits, 6 runs 1 ER 5 K's in yet another mediocre start from Latos.  Latos was overpitched last year and is paying for it this year.  Latos will not sniff his stats from last year, I recommend staying away and not buying low unless theyre practically giving him away.

James McDonald - 6 IP, 4 hits, 0 R, and striking out 3 with a much needed win.  This was McDonalds first quality start of the season.  I am high on this guy and still am, but hes not worth owning right now.

postheadericon WEDNESDAY'S ROUND UP

Ryan Braun - Yet another homer last night in a Brewers win.  Cant ask for a better start from him.

Brandon McCarthy - 5.1 innings 14 hits, 7 ER and 3 K's.  OUCH! Willing to give him 2 more starts before I drop him in leagues I own him.

Coco Crisp - 1 for 2 while being caught stealing, then leaves with quade tightness.  Figures, just as I picked him up.  Dont drop him until we figure out how long he is out.

Jordan Zimmerman - 5.1 innings of bad pitching.  I'm still extremely high on this guy, trade for him now before his value sky rockets.

Wilson Ramos - 2 homers in a 3 for 4 night raising his average to .378. Is he worth a pick up? Absolutely.

Justin Masterson - 6.2 IP, 3 ER,  7 Ks and another quality start for Masterson.  He is not 2.18 ERA good, expect a drop off soon, ride him while hes hot.

Pedro Alvarez - Another 0 for 4 night, and really struggling to figure it out right now. We need to worry about him getting sent down to AAA.  For now, dont drop but keep him on the bench.

Gavin Floyd - 8 IP 2 ER 10 K's. Fantastic outing from Floyd tonight, but I still dont think he's ownable yet.

Sergio Santos - Got the save again last night and was bailed out by a Lillibridge diving catch. So far hes doing what Thornton and Sale couldnt do.  He is a must own in all leagues, but will the success continue is the question.

Adam Lind - 2 Homers and 5 RBI's last night, sure hope you didnt drop him after only a few weeks.  I'm still fairly confident in a Lind bounce back season.

Jonathan Broxton - Out as Dodgers closer. Stay away from this mess as there is no clear cut closer.  Padilla and Kuo are expected to split.
