ATLANTA, WE HAVE AN UGGLA SIGHTING!
Dan Uggla – 2 for 3 with a home run and 2 RBIs. Uggla has now homered in consecutive games and could be finally coming to life. If you have him benched, I would still keep him there until he continues to show hes coming out of this.
Ryan Zimmerman – 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 RBI and 2 doubles as Zimmerman finally looks like hes starting to get into a groove with back to back multi hit games
Jose Reyes – The hamstring is not healing as quickly as the Mets thought and a DL stint is looking more realistic now. Reyes owners need to start looking for other option on the FA wire now.
Phil Hughes – 5 IP, 2 ER, 6 H, 2 K’s while pitching somewhat effective for the first time this year. I would make Hughes a spot start starter until he proves otherwise
Martin Prado – Began a rehab assignment on Wednesday and is hoping to return the first game after the all star break.
Jon Lester – An MRI has confirmed a strained lat and was placed on the DL. Yup, I told you this yesterday!
Michael Cuddyer – 2 for 4 with a home run and 3 RBI. Cuddyer is currently 7 for 16 with 2 home runs and 7 RBI in the month of July.
Mike Stanton – 1 for 5 with a walk off home run. Stanton now has 3 hits in his last 9 at bats since complaining of not being able to see well.
Alexi Ogando – 7 IP, 3 ER, 4 H, 3 ER while striking out 5. Ogando needs rest? Nahhhhh. He now has back to back solid pitching performances and should be rolled out there every start.
Shin-Soo Choo – Had his cast removed on Wednesday and is telling friends he will be back in August. You better, I have you on a team!
