postheadericon THE ZIMM IS RETURNING!

Ryan Zimmerman – Finally healthy and will return from the DL on Tuesday.  Zimmerman becomes a must start immediately and is still an elite option at 3B.

Adam Dunn – Hit a 3 run home run on Sunday, and what some could say is now “heating up”. Dunn has 2 home runs and 6 RBIs in the last 4 days.  I wouldn’t pick Dunn up in 10 team leagues quite yet, monitor the situation.

Mike Moustakas – Playing in his 2nd big league game, Mike Moustakas hit his first career home run.  Moustakas is a must own in all leagues and formats due to the weak stats at 3b.

Francisco Liriano – Had a perfect game going into the 7th inning before an error ruined that, and then lost his no hitter in the 8th.  Liriano was absolutely brilliant Sunday afternoon shutting down a great Texas offense.

Mike Napoli – To the DL with an oblique strain.  Tough break for fantasy owners, Napoli was starting to get more playing time and was playing well.

Tommy Hanson – 7 IP, 3 H, 1 ER, 14 K to pick up his 8th win on the year.  Hansons 14 K’s were a career high, Hanson is a must start against ALL teams.

Alex Gordon – 3 for 5 with 2 RBI on Sunday afternoon.  Gordon is having himself an unexpected quality year at the 3B position.  While Gordons average is slowly dropped from the .350 it was at in april, he has still been driving in runs and have driven in over 10 runs a month and is on pace to do so again.  Until Gordon proves otherwise, he is still a solid option at the 3B position.

Jordan Zimmerman – 7 IP, 0 ER, 10 K while taking part in yet another no decision.  Zimmerman hasn’t given up more than 3 runs since April 26th and is quickly becoming an elite option.  If only the Nationals can start giving him some run support.

David Ortiz – Ortiz has absolutely been tearing the cover out of the ball the month of June.  He is batting .400 with 5 home runs and 16 RBI.

Prince Fielder – Speaking of someone else who is absolutely tearing the cover off the ball, Fielder has just been a home run machine lately, blasting 8 in the month of June while driving in 16.

Sergio Santos – Blew a save on Thursday and has been shaky his last couple times out.  Santos is clearly not closer material; he doesn’t possess the stuff to be a closer.  No one in the White Sox pen has closer type stuff, with the exception of Sale.  If you own Santos, you need to monitor this situation closely.
