postheadericon PROGRESSING WANG!

Chien-Ming Wang – 3 IP, 4 H, 2 ER on his first rehab stint in Class A Hagerstown.  Wang is progressing well from shoulder surgery but still probably won’t be worth a fantasy pick up this year.

Hiroki Kuroda – Kuroda is drawing a lot of interest from teams around the league.  Fantasy owners should hope Kuroda is traded, it will help spike his fantasy value.  Kuroda is 5-9 with a 3.10 ERA on the year.

Lonnie Chisenhall – 2 for 4 with a double and RBI in his MLB debut.  Chisenhall doesn’t have much value in mixed leagues right now, but will be a solid add in AL only leagues.

Bartolo Colon – Threw 4 simulated innings with no issues on Monday, it is not known if Colon will make a rehab assignment, if not he will start this weekend against the Mets.

Stephen Strasburg – threw 20 fastballs at 100 percent on Monday.  This is the first time he has thrown with 100 percent effort since having Tommy John surgery.  Strasburg is still not expect to pitch in a major league game this year.

David Freese – Activated from the 15 day DL and will be in the starting lineup Tuesday.

Pedro Alvarez – After having a setback with neck soreness over the weekend, Alvarez played in a rehab game on Monday going 0 for 1.

Matt Kemp – 4 for 5 with a home run 2 RBI and 2 runs scored.  Business as usual for Kemp!
